Virtual Learning Program for the 2023-2024 School Year
The Wissahickon Virtual Academy (WVA), our virtual learning program, is available to students in grades K-12. Click on the summary below to review and compare WVA virtual learning and in-person learning in Wissahickon schools. If your student(s) is interested in participating in WVA, we ask that our families communicate with their building principal no later than Friday, August 11, 2023. This will allow for sufficient time to complete the scheduling process so that students are prepared to start on the first day of school.
In order to receive timely communication, it is essential for all parents, K-12, to set up an account in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and maintain current contact information including email and phone numbers in the Portal.
Infinite Campus Support
To stay on top of your child’s assignments and grades, parents in Grades 6-12 are asked to set up a Parent Schoology Account. Students entering grade 6 or who are new to the district will receive their Schoology access code to set up their account during the first week of school.
You can pay for your student’s lunch (K-12) by credit card via MySchoolBucks or send a check in to your child's school. Visit our Food Services page for more information about school meals.
All student immunizations need to be up to date prior to the start of the school year. Learn more and download an immunization form. Find a variety of health resources and forms.
Find your child’s bus stop location, pickup and drop-off times and bus number via Find My Bus beginning August 21.
